Bachy Soletanche Singapore and Penta Ocean JV have successfully completed the first pipe jacking drive for the NSC southbound tunnel pipe roof! <\/span>\u00a0The drive covered a length of 35m, powered by a 1200mm retractable square micro tunnel boring machine.<\/span> With the expertise and support of our sister company BESSAC, we managed to realise this first achievement of our solution to cross the live MRT alignment without any disruption.<\/span> What\u2019s impressive is that the operation was passing the live North-South Line MRT Tunnels as close as 1m.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Looking forward, we are getting ready for another 28 drives to complete the pipe roof and move forward with the box jacking works.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>
