Le Beaujolais Nouveau est arrivé… and so has the Bachy Soletanche Singapore celebration!
On Friday, 21 November, Bachy Soletanche Singapore proudly celebrated the arrival of the iconic Beaujolais Nouveau — a cherished French tradition that we are delighted to share each year within our multicultural company.
At BSS, beyond the construction sites and the innovative, complex projects we take on, what truly matters is the spirit that brings us together: conviviality, cultural exchange and shared enjoyment. These values are deeply rooted in both our industry and our unique French–Singaporean identity.
A Tradition That Travels the World
The Beaujolais Nouveau celebration dates back to the 1950s, when winemakers in the Beaujolais region began promoting this young, fruity and festive wine, released annually on the third Thursday of November. What began as a regional promotion has since grown into a global cultural event.
“Le Beaujolais Nouveau est arrivé !” echoes each year around the world — and we are proud to keep this joyful tradition alive here in Singapore.
An Evening of Discovery and Pairing
The celebration wasn’t just about Beaujolais. Our teams and invited guests also enjoyed a curated selection of quality wines, each carefully paired with dishes specially prepared for the occasion.
It was a warm and lively evening — a welcome break from day-to-day operations, and above all, a wonderful moment of connection among colleagues, partners and friends of BSS.
