Bachy Soletanche Singapore arrived in Singapore in the 1970’s and was incorporated in 1982.
Bachy Soletanche Singapore is a subsidiary of the world’s foremost geotechnical specialist engineering contractor, Soletanche Bachy.
Involved in some of the country’s most outstanding infrastructure and iconic buildings, we have played a significant role to build the foundations of the Smart and Green city that Singapore is globally-recognised today.

Historic Building
As well as heavy foundation and retaining wall projects, we are known for the historical buildings such as Chijmes or the National Gallery Singapore.
For the National Gallery, the challenge was to convert the former City Hall and Supreme Court, both National Heritage Buildings, into an iconic National Gallery Singapore.
As a specialist subcontractor, we successfully created the retaining walls in and around the historic buildings to construct up to three levels of basements in a very challenging environment with very low headroom and significant space constraints working in the middle of historic Singapore with significant traffic management and geological challenges.
World-class Infrastructure
Since the 1980’s, the teams of Bachy Soletanche Singapore have been actively involved in the creation and expansion of the country’s rail network and large-scale underground projects for major infrastructure and building works, making Singapore a vibrant world class city with one of the most efficient transport systems in the world.
Proud to have its name associated with more than 20 MRT stations both as a specialist subcontractor and as main contractor we remain the preferred specialist contractor for the most complicated and difficult underground structures. Our names are also associated with other complex project like North-South Corridor (NSC) and Cross-Island line (CRL).
