A Strong Foundation for the Future: Bachy Soletanche Singapore and the French Spirit of Engineering Excellence
Bachy Soletanche Singapore has been part of the city’s story since the 1970s. From Clarke Quay to Orchard Road, Marina Bay Sands, and now the North South Corridor (NSC) in Novena, our teams have played a role in shaping more than 26 MRT stations and many other landmark underground projects across the island.
We are proud to be rooted in Singapore, working hand in hand with partners and communities to deliver infrastructure that supports the nation’s growth. While we bring with us the innovation and technical expertise of a global group, our focus remains firmly on quality, sustainability, and service, values that are closely aligned with Singapore’s urban vision.
On the NSC project, Bachy Soletanche Singapore is deploying cutting-edge engineering methods, including a world-first tunneling technique that allows tunnel segments to pass both above and below an operational MRT line without disrupting daily service. This breakthrough underscores our commitment to minimizing impact while delivering complex infrastructure solutions in one of the most challenging urban environments.
We recently had the privilege of welcoming French Ambassador Mr. Stephen Marchisio and members of the French Embassy to our site. Their visit was a special moment for our team; a recognition of the dedication and excellence that go into every project we deliver. As Ambassador Marchisio remarked during his visit, our work exemplifies the excellence of French engineering and the shared vision between France and Singapore in addressing the challenges of urban development with innovation and responsibility.
Looking ahead, we remain committed to being a trusted partner in Singapore’s public projects. Together with our clients, partners, and the wider community, we aim to continue building infrastructure that is safe, sustainable, and future ready.
