Toa Payoh Police Station
Project Description
BSS was engaged to carry out bored piling and diaphragm wall works for the construction of a 6-storey police building with two basement levels at Lot 10912V, Lorong 8 within the Toa Payoh Planning Area.
The scope involved the installation of bored piles to support the building structure and the construction of diaphragm walls to facilitate deep basement excavation and provide earth retention and groundwater control. The works were executed in a highly constrained urban environment and required careful coordination due to multiple live utilities that needed diversion by the main contractor, staged construction sequencing, and limited working space arising.
