Project Description

LTA Contract CR116 comprises the design and construction of the Ang Mo Kio Interchange Station and associated tunnel works under the Cross Island Line Phase 1. The project includes a new underground interchange station, twin-bored tunnels, mined underpasses, and major integration works with the existing North–South Line Ang Mo Kio MRT Station. Constructed within a highly urbanised environment, the development employs advanced engineering and tunnelling methodologies to ensure safety, quality, and operational continuity. Upon completion, the project will enhance rail connectivity, improve commuter accessibility, and support long-term transportation and urban development objectives.
